Harry Norman, 1913-1988, a psychiatric nurse married Elizabeth Critchley 1908-1995, in 1940.  He worked as a charge psychiatric nurse and then night superintendent for nearly 50 years at Rainhill Hospital 1929-1978, with a break of 4 years 1940-1945 whilst serving in the RAMC in North Africa and the Middle East during the Second World War.
